Titanium Goat Ptarmigan Bivy

Titanium Goat is a small two-man company from Utah in the USA which has specialized in ultralight equipment. Its products include the Ptarmigan Bivy.

For a long time the Ptarmigan Bivy was only available in purple with a silver bottom. It is now also obtainable in black.

Intrepid continues to be used as a surface material. This is comparable to Pertex Quantum in terms of weight and breathability, but offers a greater degree of water resistance.

The bivy is very generously proportioned, also making it suitable for winter sleeping bags or quilts. I like using it very much and have plenty of room, even though I sleep on my side.

The bivy weighs 165 grams not including the net window bug protection option and 198 grams including the net window. This makes the Ptarmigan Bivy 7 grams heavier than the purple/silver version.
